But it must start with high-quality beans and these gourmet coffee beans really deliver. I have tried the cheaper beans over the years and you too will notice they just do not cut it in flavor. Aging Beef

All Snake River Farms and Double D Ranch products are aged to maximize the flavor and texture of our beef. They employ two different methods:

Wet-Aging

A technique where subprimal cuts of beef are vacuum-sealed and allowed to rest in refrigeration for a minimum of 21 days. Natural enzymes tenderize the beef and allow deeper flavors to develop. The product is not exposed to the air, so there is no weight loss. Our products are all wet-aged 21 days or more before they are packaged and shipped.

Dry-Aging

A unique process where beef subprimal is placed in a carefully controlled environment in order to intensify their natural flavor and make them more tender. All products are dry-aged a minimum of 45 days which is the minimum amount of time to enhance the flavor.

How are the animals fed?

Double R Ranch Beef is grass and hay fed on pasture for the first year of their life. They are then fed a sustainable diet of hay, forages, as well as potatoes, vitamins, and minerals.

My Review of Filet Mignon 6oz.

The product arrived well-packaged and completely frozen. After thawing the meat, I was able to make two large Beef Wellingtons, and still have enough left over for a couple of steaks as well. I used some of the trimmings to make some beef stock as well. The meat itself was tender and flavorful. A fantastic product that I would definitely order again! I pan fried them in butter to seal them and baked them for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Perfect Medium rare and tender. Highly recommended. I ordered some ribeyes just based on the taste of the first order. You won’t go wrong ordering get this meat. The packaging is extremely professional as well. Thanks for a great meal!

The product arrived well-packaged and completely frozen. These are wonderful and will be a welcome meal when my son comes home from college for winter break. They can’t come home for Thanksgiving so I wanted to be sure there is something extra special for that 4-week break. The meat itself was tender and flavorful. A fantastic product that I would definitely order again! Makes turkey look bad, very bad. Simplifies holiday cooking when all you basically have to do is thaw it on time, warm it up, and serve. You can do a glaze or a sauce but it's pretty perfect without. Get one and you won't regret it and you'll crave it. Oh, and the leftovers are fantastic. Highly recommended. The best taste I've ever had, my family said they can tell the difference, well worth the price…and I qualify that by saying that the price restricts this to a rare-special-occasion-only purchase. I've paid good money at excellent high-end restaurants and this is by far the best. Thanks for a great meal!

Key features of the Compak F8 OD
• Consistent feeding of beans into the burrs is important for consistent performance. Compak accomplishes this with a high precision auger above the burrs.
• You can easily program the automatic grinding for both single (“1”) and double (“2”) espressos. Pressing the corresponding touch panel indicators will automatically grind for the programmed amount of time. The duration is set by the user and can be easily changed. Alternatively, you can use the portafilter to trigger the grind by placing it in the portafilter holder pressing it inwards once for a single (1), or pressing it twice for a double (2).
• On-Demand grinding can be selected using the three-position power switch. When in that position, just press the portafilter in towards the machine and grinding will take place so long as it is held in that position.
• The “Refill” button also operates as an “on-demand” option making it easy to “top off” the portafilter or use in an on-demand manner. Press and hold for continuous grinding and release to stop.
• The Grind Adjustment knob located on the side of the control panel allows easy and precise fine or coarse adjustment of the grind. The digital display shows the relative grind setting from 1 to 800.
• The motor is equipped with a double fan cooling system for long motor life.
• The three-position power switch features off, automatic grinding (as detailed above), or manual grinding as you desire. The manual choice is handy, just in case, there is an electronics failure. It allows the grinder to be operated even if the electronic control system fails.
• The adjustable portafilter holder can be adjusted and locked in place with the included tool to securely hold your portafilter for hands-free grinding.
