My Review of Almond – Mandorla – Fairtrade Certified
This is my first purchase of off-brand coffee pods for my Nespresso machine. I wanted to save some money, so I went for it, thinking the coffee might not be great, but at least my wallet would thank me. The pods arrived very quickly. I purchased the flavor pack with Vanilla, Chocolate, Coconut, Hazelnut and Caramel pods. Well, my friends, to my surprise, I think I like these even more than the Nespresso pods!! Nice, deep rich flavor. I tried the variety selection from Gourmesso, which was by far the favorite; in fact, one of my friends always asks for this coffee. So being able to buy a whole load of them is fantastic. I'd buy it again. The packaging of the pods also is not as pretty as Nespresso pods. (All the pods are black regardless of flavor. The top of the pod says the flavor.) If you love sweeter/flavored coffees that are a lighter-medium roast, you'll love these! If you are a passionate aficionado who likes their coffee black and rich, this may not be for you. These pods may be my favorite and I have purchased from them several times in the past, but during this horrendous Covid-19 Virus Crisis I could not get out to purchase at any store. Fortunately, purchasing online is quick and easy and I ordered directly. Surprisingly, I was impressed with the customer service, keeping me coming back for future purchases, and I highly recommended it.
